PERFORMER: JOHN MORELLO
John Morello was born in Detroit and raised in Boston. A survivor of a high-risk childhood, John went on to receive a B.A. in Theatre Arts and has now been on stage for over 15 years as an actor and a nationally headlining comedian. Although he has spent most of his life making people laugh, he has constantly been confronted by realities that are anything but funny, watching friends and family members struggle with addiction. Today’s performance is John’s response to these struggles…It is a show called “DIRT”. It is not a lecture…but a one-man play of characters dealing with the issues of substance abuse and choices. It is John’s hope that by experiencing these characters we will all see someone we know…including ourselves. Please join me in welcoming John Morello.
